Resilia Ads Explained (and How to Make AI Singing Ads)

Hey!
A lot of people in E‑commerce are talking about Resilia ads right now: long story ads for a supplement brand, with a sung voiceover, mostly in a 3D Disney/Pixar style. I pulled the numbers from our archive of the public Meta Ad Library to see what they really are, and found that the main Resilia page went from 4,174 active ads on October 5, 2026 to none on October 7.

This is a Resilia singing ad

This is part of the first minute of a Resilia ad that runs 4 minutes 15 seconds, from 19 seconds in. It is the one I play in my video on making this style of ad.

Alex Cooper on X, September 20, 2026

Maj Zulic on X, October 2, 2026

That is the conversation on E‑commerce X right now (Alex Cooper's post, Maj Zulic's post). People attach big revenue numbers to this brand, and I am leaving those out because I cannot check them. What I can check is the ads themselves.

If you would rather go straight to the build, this is how to make Disney/Pixar style AI ads, step by step.

In an article first published in the Forward, Mira Fox writes that "more than one of the Resilia ads features Jews hiding health secrets"; she calls them "AI singing ads". The copy I read is dated September 15, 2026 on jweekly.com, under the title "'Goyslop': Why antisemites are shopping in the kosher aisle". She writes that it is not clear whether the company put that there on purpose, and that the AI customer service bot on the company's website denied any relationship to Judaism.

The two Resilia ads in this post are not those ads. We transcribed both in full, and neither has that plot.

What Resilia ads are

Most Resilia ads I have seen are full voiceover ads where the voiceover is a song: the whole story is sung, and the picture is animation that shows what the words are saying. In the one above, nobody on screen lip syncs.

The board from my video: two kinds of clips, combined three ways. Frames of the Resilia ad sit in the top row, full voiceover ads.

Every animated ad is built from two kinds of clips. Talking clips, where a character speaks or sings on screen, and B‑roll clips, where the picture shows what the words are saying. They combine three ways:

Type of adWhat is on screenThe sound
Full voiceover ad100% B‑rollA voiceover, spoken or sung
Full talking ad100% talking clipsThe characters' own voices
Mixed adMostly B‑roll, plus a few talking or singing shotsA voiceover, with lip sync in places

Most of the Resilia ads I have seen sit in the first row. I show a real ad for every row in the 3 types of animated ad.

So if you came here looking for the Resilia cartoon ad with the song, or the Resilia animated ad about the wedding, this is most likely the format you were watching.

The same type of ad, with a spoken voiceover

Inside full voiceover ads there are two kinds: the voiceover is speech, or the voiceover is a song. This one is speech. It is a claymation ad for a shampoo brand, narrated the whole way through.

Here the voiceover is sung. This is a Resilia ad about a wedding that runs 8 minutes 30 seconds, playing here up to its closing offer. On October 5, 2026 it was the highest placed video on the main Resilia page: 5th of 4,174 active ads by impressions.

What the Ad Library shows about Resilia ads

We keep our own archive of the public Meta Ad Library, so I pulled the numbers for the main Resilia page. Every two or three days we read a page's active ads in Meta's own order, most impressions first, and I call each read a ranking. Every number below has a date, and it belongs to that one page unless I say otherwise.

Meta's count of active ads on the main Resilia page, September 19 to October 9, 2026

Meta's own count of active ads on the page more than doubled in sixteen days, from 1,917 on September 19 to 4,174 on October 5, 2026. Then, on October 7, our read of the same page came back with no active ads at all.

The public Meta Ad Library page for Resilia on October 9, 2026, with the active ads filter set

We captured the public page on October 9, 2026. Filtered to active ads, it said "No ads match your search criteria".

The Resilia page on October 9, 2026 with all ads showing: about 630 results, the first card marked inactive

With all ads showing, it listed about 630 results, and every card we loaded was marked inactive. The page's total count, active and inactive together, had fallen too: 4,325 on October 6, 884 on October 7, about 630 on October 9.

I do not know why, and I am not going to guess. Neither our archive nor the public page says why. What I can show you is the count of active ads on each day in 2026. The table has the main page and three of the 14 other pages our archive groups with it, because the ads we archived from them linked to the same store:

The day by day history is in what happened to Resilia's ads.

The format itself did not stop that week. RYZE Superfoods, AMUA and Tradesman Nutrition all showed active ads on October 9, and their song ads are further down this post.

The 100 active ads Meta ranked highest by impressions on the main Resilia page on October 5, 2026, grouped by type

Here is what the page looked like on October 5, 2026, the last day our read returned any ads. Of the 100 active ads Meta ranked highest by impressions, 80 were videos and 20 were image ads. Of the 80 videos, 52 were 3D animated, and 37 of those had a sung voiceover.

Go wider and the share grows. Of all 999 ads in that ranking, 472 were 3D animated videos with a sung voiceover, more than half of the 835 videos.

So the song ads were the biggest single group, but they were not the whole account. In the top 100, fifteen of the 3D animated videos were tagged as spoken, 27 videos had a realistic, filmed look, and the top four places belonged to plain image ads.

One correction to my own video, where I say I think the ad at the top of this post is the top ad in their account by impressions. On the eight rankings we hold from September 19 to October 5, 2026, it sat between 6th and 9th: inside the top 1 percent, never number one.

How long the 3D song ads on the main Resilia page run: 473 distinct video files, archive of October 8, 2026

In the video I say theirs are 7 minutes, so I measured it. Across the 473 distinct 3D song video files we held for the page on October 8, 2026 (files, not ads: one file can run under many ad ids), the median length is 7 minutes 15 seconds. 207 of them run between 6 and 8 minutes, the longest is 11 minutes 46 seconds, and none is under one minute.

One more thing the archive shows: the page reused its videos heavily. The 4,972 video ads we held for it on October 8, 2026 use only 959 distinct video files, and the wedding ad above ran under at least 44 different ad ids.

Why this is the easiest animated ad to make

Clips laid over one audio track: the song and the clips of my own ad

A full voiceover ad is the easiest type of animated ad to make. There is no lip sync to get right: you have one audio track, and you lay clips on top of it.

From what I can see, that is how these are built. They have a script, they make a song for it, and then they storyboard the visuals against the song.

What makes theirs hard is the length and the planning. A seven minute song needs a clear visual for every line, and the quality is really high: it looks like there are very talented editors and people behind the visual engineering of these ads. The storyboard is where that work lives, which is why I wrote a separate guide on how to storyboard an AI ad.

Song ads in the Disney/Pixar style from other brands

Resilia is the name people use, but the format is not theirs alone. Here are four more brands, each with a song ad in the Disney/Pixar style near the top of its page.

How to make a Resilia‑style ad with AI

This is the order I use: the song first, then the characters, then the storyboard, then the clips.

How a song ad in this style gets made: script, song, characters, storyboard, then clips laid over the song

1

Start from a finished script

This workflow begins once the script is written. Research and scriptwriting are their own subject, and I do not cover them here.

2

Make the song first

The song is your source of truth for pacing. It defines when things happen, so generate it before anything visual and let your agent analyze it. This is how I make the song in Suno.

In Starpop, one click adds the song to the chat:

3

Put a face to your characters

Lock your hero elements early: a sheet for each character and one for the product. Every later image and clip is generated from them.

One of the two character sheets of my ad

4

Storyboard the script line by line

Take the script line by line and decide the visual for each line before you generate anything. This is the bonus step most people skip, and it is by far the most important one. The whole method is in my guide to script storyboarding.

5

Generate the B‑roll, then lay it over the song

Either one storyboard canvas that covers several shots, or one start frame per shot. Then keep the song in one piece and put the clips on top of it.

Here is step 5 both ways, with the real inputs of my ad.

A storyboard canvas: four rows of my storyboard as four panels in one image

One storyboard canvas, four shots
Shown here: the four panel canvas and one of the character sheets. One generation comes back with four shots and its slice of the song.
Four panel canvas
Princess sheet
MiniMax H3 Max

Four rows of my storyboard became four panels, and the model moved from one to the next in one generation, transitions included. The full method, and when not to use it, is in multi-shot AI video generation.

One start frame, one clear action
A single start frame, animated as one shot.
Coffee start frame
MiniMax H3 Max

Single shots are more stable. If one comes out wrong you regenerate that shot and nothing else, which is why I would use them when an agent is making the ad end to end. The prompts for both are in Disney/Pixar style AI prompts.

Satish on X, September 7, 2026: an agency hiring editors who can make this kind of ad

In September an agency was hiring for exactly this skill. If you want the shortest route in, start with AI song ads the easy way. And if you want a singer on screen, that is a mixed ad with lip sync: here is how I make an AI singing ad.

Before you publish your own ad, read whether AI-generated ads are allowed on Meta.

My version: a Disney/Pixar song ad for an RV mattress

This is the ad I build in the video: a 75 second Sleeping Beauty parody for an RV mattress brand, shown here without its end card. A script, a song made from it, two character sheets, a storyboard, then the clips laid over the uncut song.

In the video I open the generation inside Starpop so you can see it is real. The agent took my character sheets, the product reference and the storyboard canvas, and it sliced the matching piece of the song by itself.

As far as I can see it is built like the Resilia ad at the top of this post, clips laid over one uncut song, at about a sixth of the median length I measured above. One difference from that ad: in three shots the prince mouths the words of the song, which makes mine a mixed ad. An earlier song ad of ours for a mattress brand is broken down in the mattress singing ad case study.

FAQ

Are Resilia ads AI?

People search for the Resilia AI ad, but I do not know how Resilia makes its ads, and I have not seen their process. What I can point to: on October 8, 2026 our archive held 473 distinct 3D song video files for the main Resilia page, with a median length of 7 minutes 15 seconds, and people who make ads for a living call this style AI animation ads on X. The format is one you can make with AI: in my own ad above, the song, the characters and every clip are AI.

What is the song in the Resilia ad?

There is not one Resilia song. From what I can see, a song is made for a Resilia song ad from that ad's script, so there are many: our archive held 473 distinct 3D song video files for the main Resilia page on October 8, 2026 (distinct files, not distinct songs). In the two we transcribed, the lyrics are the story of that ad, shown as burned in captions.

Who sings the Resilia commercials?

In the Resilia ad at the top of this post, nobody on screen: the song is a voiceover over animated shots and no character lip syncs. Who or what made the vocal, I do not know. In my own ad the song was generated with AI, with no human singer.

What style are Resilia's ads?

Mostly the 3D Disney/Pixar style: big eyes, soft rounded shapes, cinematic lighting. On October 5, 2026, 52 of the 80 videos in the main Resilia page's top 100 active ads were tagged 3D animation, and most of the rest had a realistic, filmed look.

How long are Resilia ads?

Long. On October 8, 2026 the median 3D song video we held for the main Resilia page ran 7 minutes 15 seconds, and the longest ran 11 minutes 46 seconds. The two in this post run 4 minutes 15 seconds and 8 minutes 30 seconds.

How do you make an ad like Resilia's?

You make a full voiceover ad with a song as the voiceover, which has no lip sync and is the easiest type of animated ad. The five steps are above, and every one of them is covered in my full Disney/Pixar style AI ad workflow.

Are Resilia ads still running?

On October 9, 2026 the public Meta Ad Library showed no active ads on the main Resilia page, down from 4,174 on October 5. Three of the 14 other pages our archive groups with it showed between about 13 and about 36 active ads each that day. I do not know the reason and it can change, so check the page in the Meta Ad Library for today's count.

Next Steps

Start with the song. If you have a script, turn it into a song today, then storyboard it line by line before you generate a single image.

In Starpop the Disney/Pixar skill is built in: one click loads it into the prompt, as in the recording above.

Once your song, your characters and your storyboard are set, autonomous mode can run the generations for you. The recording above shows it being switched on.

If you want more ads to study first, open the AI song ad swipe file, the page in the recording above. And if you want a second opinion on an angle before you build it, the Starpop Discord is where that conversation happens.
