# Watercolor animation ads

Build a controlled painted world rather than applying a watercolor filter. Lock the paper, pigment behavior, edge language, palette, and subject treatment before animation.

## Workflow

1. Resolve the product angle, audience, script, proof, CTA, and audio format.
2. Choose one watercolor language: transparent botanical, editorial wash, loose storybook, ink-and-wash, or detailed product illustration.
3. Lock paper tooth, pigment transparency, bloom size, edge softness, palette, linework, and negative-space rules.
4. Create clean references for recurring characters and the product in the approved painted treatment.
5. Storyboard actions that suit the medium: bloom, bleed, dissolve, brush reveal, wash transition, pigment trail, or painted transformation.
6. Generate each beat from the approved references and repeat the style lock verbatim.
7. Animate gently. Preserve recognizable forms while allowing secondary pigment edges to move organically.

## Style lock

```text
Original watercolor animation painted on cold-press paper. Translucent layered pigment,
visible paper tooth, controlled wet-on-wet blooms, softly irregular painted edges, restrained
ink accents, preserved negative space, and natural pigment granulation. Painterly motion only;
no glossy 3D surfaces and no flat vector gradients.
```

## Quality checks

- Keep the product silhouette and label legible.
- Avoid muddy palettes by limiting each beat to a controlled color family.
- Prevent subject drift by reattaching the approved painted reference.
- Use pigment motion to reveal or explain the selling idea, not as a constant decorative effect.
